The Commute: Cavite to Makati

The hustle and bustle of the Central Business District is a testament of its multicultural lifestyle. Employees from all walks of life wish to join this modern city with its shopping malls, restaurants and parks. The difficulty of working within Makati is a thing of the past. You can now choose to commute from Cavite going to Makati via a bus, UV Express (van) or jeepney.

Here’s how you can get to Makati from Cavite

Via BUENDIA (Bus)

  1. From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite, board a bus bound to Coastal Mall – Calatagay and get off to Coastal Terminal, also called as Southwest Integrated Provincial Transport Terminal;
  2. from the terminal, board a bus bound to Ayala, Makati City via LRT Leveriza;
  3. you can get off the bus at anytime along Buendia, however, note that Ayala Avenue has loading and unloading zones. The unloading areas are at Paseo de Roxas and Glorietta/Rustans.

Via EDSA (Bus)

  1. From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite, board a bus bound to Coastal Mall – Calatagay and get off to Coastal Terminal, also called as Southwest Integrated Provincial Transport Terminal;
  2. from the terminal, board a bus bound to Ayala, Makati City via EDSA. Take those buses with “B and C badges” seen on the windshield of the bus.
  3. you can get off the bus at Magallanes, Pasay Road, Ayala, or Buendia.

Via EDSA (Jasper Bus)

  1. From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite, board a “Jasper” bus bound to Ortigas.
  2. You can get off the bus at Magallanes, Pasay Road, Ayala, or Buendia.

Via LEVERIZA ST. (Erjohn Bus)

  1. From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite, board an “Erjohn” bus bound to Ayala Ave., Makati City.
  2. You can get off the bus at any time along Buendia, however, note that Ayala Avenue has loading and unloading zones. The unloading areas are at Paseo de Roxas and Glorietta/Rustan’s.

Via EDSA (UV Express Van)

  1. From UV Express terminal near the Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, overpass at Imus, Cavite, board a UV Express van bound to Ayala Ave., Makati.
  2. You can get off at Park Square or at Greenbelt 1 in Makati. The next unloading zones are along Dela Rosa St., Makati.

Via BACLARAN (Jeepney)

  1. From Emilio Aguinaldo Highway, Imus, Cavite, board a jeepney bound to Baclaran.
  2. Get off at Mia Road. You can choose to:
  3. Walk to the Coastal terminal and board a bus bound to Ayala, Makati City via EDSA or via LRT Leveriza.
  4. You can get off the bus at any time along Buendia, however, note that Ayala Avenue has loading and unloading zones. The unloading areas are at Paseo de Roxas and Glorietta/Rustans.
